The Exmoor Pony Festival Team are delighted to announce plans for a schedule of events in 2021!
To adhere to capacity and distancing guidelines we have taken the action to offer a set of events throughout the month of August to allow for as much pony filled fun as possible and to spread the workload for the organisers, who will be working vigilantly to work to government guidance and keep everybody safe.

August 2021
3rd, Tuesday: 2pm Walk at Haddon Hill. Join Exmoor National Park Ranger to find out some fun facts about the National Park owned herds and hopefully spot some ponies too. Meet in the car park, wear sturdy footwear. Donations welcome.
8th, Sunday: 6pm Outdoor Picnic and Quiz. Based at the Exmoor Pony Centre. Bring your own food and drink, we will provide the Quiz and the fabulous pony setting, chairs and tables also provided! £2 per person. We will also hold a raffle in support of the Exmoor Pony Festival.
9th, 17th and 24th: Exmoor Wildlife Safaris at 10am for a 4×4 safari with onboard pony expert– to book call 07977571494
15th, Sunday: 11am Gill Langdon Memorial Gala. 11am at Cutcombe Church for Parish Communion followed by interment of Gill’s ashes. Followed by a BBQ and display of Tawbitts ponies at Cutcombe Horse Show field, Dunkery Hill Gate at 12.30pm. Everyone welcome.
17th, Tuesday: 2pm CANCELLED Walk at North Hill. Join Exmoor National Park Ranger to find out some fun facts about the National Park owned herds and hopefully spot some ponies too. Meet by the concrete parking area, meeting point will be marked. Wear sturdy footwear. Donations welcome.
20th, Friday: 6pm Moorland Mousie Trust & Exmoor Pony Centre hosts a ‘Get to know us Evening’. Join the team for a fun evening to find out about the work of the MMT. Q&A’s, Demo and Tour. Refreshments available. £3 per person.
27th, Friday: 10am Walk at Long Holcombe. Meet Rob Taylor, Greystone Gate Herd and Tricia Gibson to find the ponies as well as pick up some expert photography tips. Wear sturdy footwear, expect a active walk across rough terrain. Donations welcome. Bring water/drinks, lunch provided.
